Plans?

When is everyone getting to St. George?

Did we want to try to meet as a group and do a swim at the lake (Easy)? maybe have a nice dinner with the families?

If that's to weird then at least say hello to me on the run when you pass me!

Pass you? oh, ya, that's right, when I am finishing my bike and I pass you as you are heading to the finish of your Marathon.... Tom and I are Driving out Weds am. We should totally all meet up. Last year we did a potluck dinnerish thing on Friday, which was cool, but hectic. I am open to anything. The race dinner thurs was neat. I think we were planning on hitting that up again. Again, I am pretty open. Definately count me in for a short swim. My wife will beflying in Friday Late, so she will likely meet up with my at teh swim start. I would like to introduce her to some of the wives so she has some peeps to hang with during the day. She usually takes pictures of everyone as they pass.

I have family coming down from Provo/Draper to spectate. I'm not sure what our Friday dinner plans are. I plan on going to the IM dinner Thursday and a morning swim.

Sounds good on the Thursday dinner and a nice swim on Thursday.

I am good for the Thursday AM swim and the dinner. Friday I would rather not meet up as group but that is just me. We tried dropping gear off together last year. You end up getting rushed, I would rather not have to worry about meeting at a certain time and just methodically go about handling my business, making sure I don't forget anything. I plan to just lay low. I am sure I will be in a corner somewhere in the fetal position scared for what is to come.

I am open for whatever everyone is doing. An "easy" swim sounds fun and dinner is always good. I live here in St. George so I'm pretty flexible.

I am also up for anything but prefer to keep Friday evening free of plans. I vote for quick swim and dinner Thursday. As for dinner places I've wanted to try Five Guys Burger but that might be a bad choice for some right before a race. John is the local so I vote for him picking the place.

For dinner Thursday I think the plan is the IM Welcome Dinner 5:30-7:30 at the Dixie Center. At 7:30-8:30 in the same room is the athlete meeting.

I skipped the dinner last year but Austin said it was pretty cool. It is buffet style. I am sure long lines but I think IM folks put on a program.

If you like Mexican food Cafe Rio is the best place in town. My wife and I eat there at least once a week. I agree that Friday should be left alone. The IM dinner Thursday sounds like it would be fun. Maybe we could do lunch Thursday or dinner Wednesday. Again, I'm still flexible.
