From the folks at Endurance Nation

Almost makes me want to sign up last minute for St George...almost!

April 2011 EN Updates

Ironman Saint George is just around the corner, marking the official start of the US Ironman season! Coach Rich will be at the race to support TeamEN athletes and ENFans (you!) with our Four Keys talk and encouragement on the run course.

Ironman Saint George Resources

Next week is the first, and officially the most difficult, race on the US Ironman calendar. While there is no such thing as an "easy" Ironman, IMSG is the undisputed champion of difficult courses: a hilly and potentially very windy bike followed by a run with looonggg sustained grades of 2-8%. To help you prepare, and frankly give you something to do this weekend so you don't go nuts, we'd like to share with you a few of our IMSG-specific resources:

  • Ironman St. George Edition of the Four Keys Pre-Race Talk: racing next weekend? Join Coach Rich at 10am on Thursday at the K-Swiss booth in the Expo. Rich will walk everyone to a quite corner to deliver the IMSG version of the Four Key's Talk. Rich has delivered this talk to hundreds of Ironman athletes over the years and the Four Keys DVD has been viewed by thousands. Each attendee will receive a FREE Four Keys DVD, a $37 value! Complete details and RSVP here on Facebook.
  • IMSG Scouting Report: Rich conducted a free training camp on the course in February of last year. Be sure to read this notes on the course!
  • TeamEN IMSG 2010 Race Recap and Results -- features a post-race podcast by Rich and a race report podcast interview with Carrie Chavez, 8th in women's 40-44 AG.
